Cosmetic Services

A beautiful smile is an indicator of both health and confidence. Cosmetic dentistry corrects more than just an individual’s appearance. When skillfully performed by trained dental professionals, cosmetic dentistry procedures allow restoration of teeth and smile enhancement for a more youthful smile, instant correction of a variety of dental issues and a beautiful, long-lasting result. We offer a number of cosmetic dentistry services including crowns, veneers, bridges, teeth whitening, resin bonding and more. A comprehensive, one-on-one consultation with each patient helps us determine the cosmetic treatment options that work best for each individual.

Veneers

Dental veneers are an effective way of improving your smile and overall dental aesthetics. They are thin, virtually undetectable ceramic shells that bond to the surfaces of the teeth. Easy to apply and extremely durable, porcelain veneers slide right over your teeth and allow for correction in the shape, size, length, spacing and color of your natural teeth. They are translucent like your real teeth and resistant to staining, making them an amazingly natural solution for chipped, stained or misaligned teeth.

Fillings

Most people have had a filling at one point or another, a very routine procedure for when teeth are fractured or have cavities. We offer traditional silver fillings which have an extensive history of safety and durability, or composite resin (tooth colored) fillings which are safe, long lasting and cosmetic. Composite fillings are very durable and virtually undetectable, allowing those around you to admire your flawless smile. Our practice is dedicated to offering the best restorative options for your individual needs.

Crowns

Crowns, also referred to as “caps,” are dental restorations that are permanently placed over damaged or decayed teeth to help add strength, stability and aesthetics. Crafted from high-quality materials, crowns are designed to strengthen and restore the ideal contours of your teeth while protecting them from decay, wear and other common oral ailments. In addition to being incredibly strong and durable enough to last for many years with the proper care, they are also very attractive and are customized to blend in with the patient’s surrounding teeth. A properly fitted crown will enable patients to enjoy their favorite foods again by returning teeth to their original strength.

Bridges

Natural looking metal-free bridges are an excellent solution to correct problems associated with missing teeth. Today’s bridges are bonded to existing teeth or implants. They are barely noticeable and do not have unsightly black lines at the gum line. Dental bridges are not only for aesthetics. A fixed bridge is a tooth replacement prosthetic that closely mimics natural tooth form and function. These natural-looking and custom-made dental appliances can replace an entire section of missing teeth, and restore the natural contour of teeth as well as the proper bite relationship between upper and lower teeth.

Implants

Missing teeth can affect your oral health in a number of ways, including your ability to chew, your jaw structure and your bite. Dental implants have become the preferred method of tooth replacement and are an ideal option for people in good general oral health who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason. Single or multiple tooth implants provide a permanent solution that can both restore confidence and improve oral health, while having a positive influence on quality of life. With today’s advancements in dental technology, we provide natural missing tooth replacement options that blend seamlessly with your existing teeth while maintaining the look and feel of your own natural tooth.

Bonding

Dental bonding offers the ideal solution for a chipped, cracked, uneven, discolored tooth or small gaps between teeth. This process uses a composite resin filling tinted to match each patient’s natural tooth color. During this painless procedure, a thin coating is applied to the tooth’s surface and the composite is molded to cover any flaws. Bonding provides same-day, durable treatment for many minor dental imperfections.

Root Canals

When you have a broken, infected, or painful tooth, a root canal is a relatively simple procedure that can save your tooth and your smile. The goal of this simple treatment is to save your natural teeth and prevent the need for dental implants or bridges when possible. With modern technologies and anesthetics, root canal treatment is no longer a painful procedure. Most of the time a root canal is as painless as getting a filling. Best of all, it can prevent the loss of your tooth, eliminate pain, save your smile and restore your ability to chew the foods you love.

Routine Exams and Cleaning

Your teeth are meant to last a lifetime. Routine oral exams are an integral part of maintaining healthy teeth and gums while also helping to prevent future complications. Regular visits to the dentist have been proven to help prevent dental decay and periodontal (gum) disease, and can prove life-saving in the early detection of severe medical problems. From digital x-rays to a comprehensive examination of your teeth, we can evaluate the condition of your mouth, teeth and jaw to identify any issues such as abscesses, temporomandibular joints (TMJ) issues, candidiasis and oral cancer, among others.

Regular dental cleanings are an essential component to maintaining your oral health. We will carefully inspect the surface and structure of your teeth to determine if you have any cavities, and examine the quality of existing fillings, followed by an exam to make sure no periodontal disease or bone loss may be occurring. Finally, we will carefully clean your teeth with a variety of tools to remove any tartar build-up, and finish with a thorough flossing and polishing. Children will also receive a fluoride treatment.
